IDW Publishing’s G.I. Joe comic book is about to get a new spin-off in the form of Scarlett’s Strike Force. The new title, to be penned by regular G.I. Joe writer Aubrey Sitterson and drawn by Nelson Daniel, was recently announced at Hascon, the G.I. Joe toymaker’s celebration of all things Hasbro. Speaking to Paste Magazine, Sitterson explained that the new title would follow up on the upcoming “First Strike” event that will see both the emergence of a new, reinvigorated Cobra Commander and a crossover between Sitterson’s G.I. Joe team and characters from IDW’s M.A.S.K. series.
