While forming the rear guard for his uncle’s escape, Toyohisa Shimazu manages to mortally wound I Naomasa, but is critically wounded himself in the process. Release to also include revised version of episodes 10-12 In an interview published in the November issue of Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine on Saturday, Drifters director Kenichi Suzuki said that the sequel for the anime series will start with a release of episodes 13 and 14 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Suzuki added that episode 13 will feature a dispute between Saint-Germi and Nobunaga. The package release will also include a revised version of episodes 10-12 with several additional cuts as a bonus. Suzuki said that the schedule was "intense" for the anime's second half and there were parts the staff couldn't correct before the episodes aired. Episodes 13, 14 ship on BD on December 23 The official website for the Drifters anime revealed on Saturday that Tomoaki Maeno will play Banzelmashin Shylock VIII in the sequel. The website also revealed a visual for the new character. In addition, the website revealed details of the home video release of the anime's episodes 13 and 14. The episodes will ship on Blu-ray Disc in regular and limited-edition versions on December 23. The limited edition will cost 6,800 yen (about US$60) and include an outer case illustrated by manga creator Kouta Hirano, a jacket illustrated by character designer and chief animation director Ryoji Nakamori, a bonus video, a drama CD, a 72-page booklet, and a "mystery disc."
