Over the decades, Warner Brothers has released a wide variety of movies based on comics. There have been plenty of grim and gritty takes on the heroes, while family friendly and downright cartoonish versions have made it to the big screen. While there have been plenty of successes, DC movies have also had plenty of missteps. Also, by making such stylized fare, even successful movies may have a short shelf life when audiences decide they no longer like that style. This has meant that there are just as many, if not more, abandoned DC movies and sequels that will never see the light of day. This means that many of the plot lines that writers and directors set up will never be resolved. Greg Capullo is adding fuel to the speculation fire, tweeting out a strong suggestion that he’s set to work on a Swamp Thing comic. The post follows rumors that originated this summer, when Capullo told a fan at a convention that he was set to tackle the fan-favorite DC Comics monster after he wraps up his work on the hit event series Dark Nights: Metal. Square Enix announced at Tokyo Game Show 2017 on Saturday that it will continue to "enhance the story" of its Final Fantasy XV game with new content into next year. The game had held a survey in May-June asking fans what kind of content they would like to be added to the game, including story content, more playable characters, and upgrades. Square Enix also outlined the game's upcoming enhancements at the event on Saturday. The game's multiplayer expansion "Comrades" will launch on October 31, taking place during the original game's 10-year timeskip near the end of the story. Nobuo Uematsu composed a theme song for the expansion titled "Choosing Hope." Emiko Suzuki performs the song. Other upcoming franchise releases include the Monster of the Deep PS VR game on November 21, the smartphone "Pocket Edition" of the game this fall, the "Episode Ignis" DLC in December, and the game's Windows release next year.
