Become The Strongest

Solicits for DC Comics’ slate of September releases are teasing a major change for everyone’s favorite Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen. According to the synopsis teasing issue #53 of The Flash, Barry is about to become not the fastest man alive, but the strongest. How? Well, apparently he receives a “jolt” from a new force, likely something that will eventually relate back to the cosmic changes brought about by the shattering of the Source Wall in Dark Nights: Metal. We haven’t received any indication that there is a force that influences strength (a “Strength Force?”) so far, but anything is possible.
