Video game news website Famitsu posted a teaser for a feature on the upcoming Steins;Gate Elite game that will run in this Thursday's issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine. In its teaser, Famitsu describes Steins;Gate Elite as a "Full Animation Adventure," and posted two screenshots from the Steins;Gate anime adaptation with visual novel captions.

Steins;Gate Elite is a major update of the original Steins;Gate game from Mages. with new elements. It will launch next spring, and the website lists it for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch.

Set in Tokyo's Akihabara district, the original game followed Rintarō Okabe as he changes fate by travelling between different world lines. The game inspired a 2011 television anime as well as the Steins;Gate – The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu sequel, and the game franchise boasts over 1 million copies. The followup game Steins;Gate 0 is inspiring its own anime project.
