10 Valuable Lessons That Dragon Ball Z Taught Anime Fans

For 90's, Dragon Ball is one the most epic anime series we had watched in our childhood.

It made us do air boxing during intense fighting scenes and shout at our TV sets every time Goku used his Kamehameha.

Also it gave us our first experiences to certain things, and taught us a few lessons as well.

Here are 10 valuable lesson we learned from watching the classic anime.

1. Training makes you stronger

No matter what you are bad at, the more you train the better you become at it.

You remembered how Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta used to train their ass off when preparing for an enemy.

2. Gravity is a bitch

We know that Goku and Vegeta trained in special gravity rooms where they could set gravity more than 100 times of that of Earth.

Though you tried to fly and do headstands and one arm push-ups and returned to your mom with bruises from all those times you were given a “NOPE. LOL.” by our old friend Gravity.

3. You ARE NOT a Saiyan

You know you have tried COUNTLESS times to turn into a Super Saiyan.

But it never happened. You ultimately had to swallow the fact that you weren’t as awesome and special as Goku who could fight against space villains.

4. Friends come in all forms

We can classify anyone in real life by comparing them to the cast of the DBZ!

For example, You, the reader, are a Yamcha. 1 extra life for you if you get the joke.

5. It had the one of the first Rock songs you knew

Most of us used to sit in front of the TV 2 minutes before the show started just to sing the opening theme song!

“Dragon! Dragon! Rock the dragon! Dragon Ball Z! Dragon! Dragon! Rock the dragon! Come get me!” which had like the BEST opening animations we knew in childhood!

6. Kept you Cheering

Even if you didn’t cheer for cricket back in the days, you were ALWAYS there to cheer Goku during his fights!

You used to literally get excited when Goku was winning a fight and cheering his moral up when he was getting beaten by Freeza.

You used to prompt to the non-existing Goku to “Use your Kamehameha!” all the time.

7. First Addiction

Unknowingly you got addicted to Dragon Ball Z so much that you couldn’t live a single day without watching it.

Whenever your mom used to tell you to stop watching the “Cartoon”, you firmly told her that it was more than a cartoon.

8. People Change

At first you were very surprised as to how Vegeta started helping Goku to fight Freeza.

But as we stuck with the story ultimately we saw him becoming one of the most loved and inspiring characters ever in the history of anime.

When he sacrifices himself in an attempt to finish Buu, we can’t help but shed tears when we see how a man driven by selfishness became selfless and the protector of the world.

The impact is huge and it is an important lesson taught in early childhood.

9. IT’S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!

We learned that its not possible to quantify everything and anything.

Scouters are useless. What fun it was comparing power levels of characters and your real life people!

10. NEVER lose hope!

Goku will forever come in our minds when we talk about DBZ and remember just how badass Goku was while being kind and loving.

His never give up attitude and his strengths will always guide the many of us in whatever we do.
