2. Sometimes The Only Way To Get Some Attention Is To Dance Naked In Front Of The Telly

When you’re really lonely – perhaps he’d just gotten a new game and is spending hours on the PlayStation – all you have to do is drop those drawers and do a little jig in front of the telly.

He might be so shocked that he drops the controller and grabs you, or he might scorn you for interrupting his game. Depends just HOW into the game he is, so get your timing right.

3. When Gaming Is Out Of Bounds For Just Two Days And It’s Like The End Of His World

You’re away on a weekend break which means your poor boyfriend won’t have access to his console. 

He seems to be coping well but when you lose sight of him for just two minutes he’s already dived into Game and playing all the demos just to get his fix.

4. He Doesn’t Want To Play “Couple Friendly” Games

He wishes you were into gaming too but even the slightest mention of playing Mario Karts together makes him turn his nose up.

When you ask him if you can play the game he loves most, you’re basically asking him if you can sleep with his other girlfriend.

7. He’s Always Tired After A Hard Night Of Gaming

“You go to bed darling and I’ll be up in literally ten minutes.” 

Hours later you’re awoken in the early hours of the morning hearing him sneak into the bedroom undetected. 

Suppose there are worse things that could be keeping him away from you.

8. He Said It’s “Social” When He Has The Lads Round To Game…But They Don’t Speak

So this is suppose to be “social time” with the lads but all you can hear is the constant clicking of buttons, the odd frustrated sigh and no general chat about how their week has been at all. Nope, just don’t get it…

9. Begging To Watch Something Other Than Game

The thing is, beg as much as you want, if you’re not playing a game, you’re going to watch some kind of “Gamer’s Delight” movie. There are a gazillion on the market that your man can choose from, so you better be prepared.

Perhaps if you ask REALLY nicely, you’ll get to watch the latest romantic comedy, but it better be good or you’ll never hear the end of it.

10. How Much Money Is Spent On Gaming

Remember that one time you suggested he wait two weeks for the new game that had come out so you can buy it second hand instead? 

You were looked at as if you were the craziest woman in the world.

11. The Lights Always Have To Be Switched Off

Are you dating a gamer or a vampire? It’s really hard to tell as the lack of natural sunlight in the house is an indicator of both.

12. You Want To Be A Cool Gamer Girlfriend But Not Enough To Learn How To Play The Games

Is there anyway you can become an excellent gamer without any practice? Doesn’t seem so. 

Guess you will just forget about your plans to become the coolest new girl gamer in town if it actually means dedicating yourself to it.

13. There’s No “Real Achievement”

Okay, so if you spent this much time playing games imagine if you dedicated all these hours in maybe learning a new instrument or writing a novel!
