Series about adulterous businessman launched last year This year's 20th issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine revealed on Wednesday that Masakazu Yamaguchi's (Dengeki Oshioki Musume Gōtaman) Furin Shokudō (Adultery Restaurant) manga is getting a live-action drama adaptation. The issue didn't state whether the adaptation will be a special or series, or if it will air on TV or stream online. The manga centers on 35-year-old businessman Ryūichi Yamadera. Ryūichi travels around the country on business trips, and his sole pastime is trying different foods at local restaurants. He also ends up sleeping with the various married women he meets at the restaurants, while also being married himself. Yamaguchi launched the manga in early 2016, and Shogakukan published the manga's fourth compiled volume on June 19. The manga's fifth compiled volume shipped on Tuesday. Kamikaze Douga's Junpei Mizusaki directs, Afro Samurai's Takashi Okazaki draws character designs The New York Comic Con event announced on Thursday that it will host Kamikaze Douga CEO and founder Junpei Mizusaki, character designer Takashi Okazaki, and writer Kazuki Nakashima as part of a panel to announce a new 2018 anime film project titled Batman Ninja by Warner Bros. Japan and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Mizusaki, the producer of the opening animation sequences for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, is the film's director. Home Entertainment's Batman Ninja 2018 anime film project. Live-action film adaptation of manga opens in Japan on October 28 The November issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine published a two-page side story by Kazune Kawahara for her Sensei! manga on Friday. The side story is set a number of years after the ending of the original manga. The side story commemorates the opening of Sensei! ...Suki ni Natte mo Ii desu ka? (Teacher! ...Is it All Right For Me to Like You?), the live-action film adaptation of the manga, on October 28. The issue also includes a round-table discussion between Kawahara and the film's leads Suzu Hirose and Toma Ikuta.
