This Scene From One-Punch Man Proves Why Manga Will Always Matter
There’s a One-Punch Man anime, so why even read the manga, right? Right? Um, no. Just no. The currently airing anime TV series One-Punch Man is winning fans for two reasons. First is the way it turns the idea of a handsome, hot-blooded action hero on its head with protagonist Saitama. Second, the show features some gorgeous animation. But as impressive as the movement in the One-Punch Man anime is, its animation has just been shown up by the most unlikely of rivals, the One-Punch Man manga. Twitter user Myuutasu pointed out that the manga version actually “moves” more than the anime. This GIF comparison shows how dynamic the framing is in the manga compared to the anime. Here's another comparison. After all, the One-Punch Man comic is drawn by the talented Yusuke Murata. So maybe it was just a matter of time until One-Punch Man fans found a scene for which Murata brought his A-game but Madhouse didn’t. And the difference

4 Unfilmed Star Wars Comic Scenes You Always Wanted to See
I always wanted to see the actual infantry attacks on the Hoth's Rebel Base. Not just a couple scenes but a full Saving Private Ryan's Normandy invasion battle with a ton of imperial storm troopers led by Darth Vader. Apparently illustrator Dave Dorman had the same idea in mind. Here's his vision. Imperial troops disguised as Sand People after they attacked the Jawas. Aftermath of the attack on the Rebel Base, Hoth. Vader supervises work on the construction of the Death Star II's shield generator. Dave Dorman is a fantasy, sci-fi, and horror illustrator. Winner of an Eisner Award in 1993, he has created illustrations for Dungeons & Dragons role playing games and covers for many Star Wars comic books.

“Why the Main Character Always Sits By The Window?” and Other Pressing Anime Questions
We all have those random questions about certain tropes that happen in anime more so than in other types of media. Really there is no way to get those questions answered other than picking up your internet connected device and Googling it, but that seems like so much work. Instead, maybe we can help you answer a few of your more pressing questions. Now then, let’s start, as all great things start, with the titular question. Why the Main Character of an Anime Sits by the Window, Near the Back? The answer is clearly because it is the coolest place to sit, of course. Actually, while that is not completely untrue, the answer is actually because it is much easier to draw and animated. When you only have to drawn one desk and character, and maybe the random jerk sitting in front of them, then that is a lot less work than having to drawn half the class for your main character that sits in the middle of the room. As for why it has to be by the window, well, windows are easy to

EXCLUSIVE: In Wytches: Bad Egg – Chapter 1 Always Do What Your Mother Says
What if Wytches were real, but they weren’t green-skinned, pointy hatted hags, or people who cast spells? What if Wytches were something else all together? An evolutionary off-shoot of humans, larger, primitive, cannibalistic…living in burrows beneath the ground except when they prey on us, hiding in the woods with both eyes on one side of their head, all the better to peek around trees… What if they had their own ancient science, and were capable of making crude medicines out of bone and blood and rotten things – medicines that could do amazing things? Cure terminal illnesses. Prolong life…anything you want. And what if all you needed to do to get some of that medicine was to mark someone for the Wytches, to “pledge” someone, so that the Wytches know to come drag that person off in the night to their burrow? Would you do it? Pledge that rotten neighbor next door who beats his wife? Pledge a stranger to save your child? Would your neighbor
