Tokyo Tarareba Girls, Grand Blue Dreaming, To Your Eternity get print releases

Kodansha Comics announced during its panel at New York Comic Con on Sunday that it has licensed Mitsurou Kubo's Again!! manga. The company will begin releasing the series in print in February 2018.

The company will also begin releasing Akiko Higashimura's Tokyo Tarareba Girls (Tokyo Tarareba Musume), Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka's Grand Blue Dreaming (Grand Blue), and Yoshitoki Ōima's To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) manga in print. Grand Blue Dreaming and Tokyo Tarareba Girls are slated for summer 2018, and To Your Eternity is slated for 2018. Kodansha Comics has been releasing all three manga digitally.

In addition, Kodansha Comics will release a box set for Yoshitoki Ōima's A Silent Voice manga in fall this year, as well as a complete box set for its Deluxe Edition releases of the Ghost in the Shell, Ghost in the Shell 1.5, and Ghost in the Shell 2 manga in November.

The story of Again!! centers around Kinichirō Imamura, a high school third-year student who graduated without making friends or memories. However, he and his female classmate Akira take a tumble down some stairs, and they wake up after time-travelling three years in the past to their first day of high school. Kinichirō once again meets a girl he adored, Usami. Usami is trying hard by herself as the leader of the school's ōendan (cheer group). In his second chance at high school, Kinichirō joins the ōendan and vows to help rebuild it.

Kubo launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2011, and ended it in 2014. Kodansha published 12 compiled book volumes for the manga. The manga inspired a live-action television series in 2014. Kubo's Moteki manga also inspired a live-action television series, and the show in turn inspired a film. Kubo is also known as the co-creater and character designer of the Yuri!!! on Ice anime.
